Hannah Bauer studied Crossmedia Editing and Public Relations (B.A.) at Stuttgart Media University from 2018 to 2022. As part of her bachelor's program, she also spent a semester at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus. From 2022 to 2024, she pursued a master's degree in Health Communication (M.Sc.) at the University of Erfurt. In her master's thesis, she explored strategies for communicating diagnostic uncertainty in the context of post-viral syndromes. Alongside her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Erfurt's Chair of Health Communication, primarily within the EU Horizon 2020 project "JITSUVAX – Jiu-Jitsu with Misinformation in the Age of COVID."
Since January 2025, Hannah Bauer has been working as a research associate and doctoral candidate in the interdisciplinary and international DFG-funded project "AWARE."
